The Division of General Paediatrics provides high-quality medical care to patients with acute and chronic disease from infants to eighteen-year-olds. Pediatricians with additional specialization are on hand to provide regional and transregional care to patients with chronic diseases. The close interdisciplinary collaboration within the Pediatrics Center guarantees optimal bedside expertise. As a university pediatrics division, we follow the latest evidence-based medicine and are committed to medical progress. In this optimal setting, we are able to convey comprehensive medical knowledge and principles of medical ethics in practice to our students in seminars, lectures and bedside teaching. As a division that conducts clinical research, we constantly contribute to the growth of knowledge through scientific projects and publications.
